GMS Update 2.1.2012

A New Metaphysical Energy at Play by Gordon Michael Scallion

For well over a decade I have been speaking about how we were heading toward a period when society becomes polarized between the forces that support the “haves” and those that support the “have-nots.” And that this polarity would for a time seem as if the deep divisions between both sides would remain in a permanent state of impasse. I think we can safely say that we are living through this polarity impasse today. Yet, I also saw that this polarity would become so entrenched, and build up so much pressure that, like a time bomb, it would eventually explode and ultimately lead to a redistribution of wealth. Recently movements like “Occupy Wall Street” and the “99% Group” have emerged and the current political landscape suggests that the division of wealth will be a significant issue in the 2012 Presidential election.

However, I sense that we are still not ready, as society, for a re-distribution of wealth, regardless of the outcome of the U.S. Presidential election. It will take a much larger metaphysical event to occur, and I do see this being developed in the metaphysical realms. But before that happens, as I warned in “Predictions for 2012” in the current issue of “Intuitive Flash,” another economic downturn is coming this year. This time it will be triggered by forces outside the United States. As bad as the Great Recession has been, and continues to be, Europe’s Great Recession will be at least three times more severe. I believe this event will be a final trigger that moves us out of the polarity impasse that we are in, and into a movement away from greed and toward more economic equality.

This event along with the support and energy of astrological forces will enable metaphysical forces now building to emerge in support of these changes. Because while all this economic turmoil is happening, spiritual forces are even now working to influence those decision makers to begin working in earnest toward the creation of the new economical model that I have spoken about. Watch for a major strike to occur in Greece to signal the beginning of the next global recession.

November Update: Natural Disasters at Record Levels

Nov. 2011 Intuitive Flash Journal Update: Natural Disasters at Record Levels

Gordon Michael Scallion | Intutive Flash Journal | www.intuitiveflash.com

Natural disasters have reached record numbers. The insurance company Munich Re calculated that in the first six months of 2011 there have been 98 natural disasters in the United States, about double the average of the 1990s. It is estimated that the cost of natural disasters in the U.S. will exceed 50 billion in 2011. As I write this update the Northeast is still reeling from a freak October nor'easter that knocked out power to more than 3 million homes and businesses across the region over the weekend. Close to 2 feet of wet, heavy snow fell in some areas and with leaves still on the trees, overloaded branches snapped, bringing down power lines, which made the storm even more damaging. In some areas it will take as much as a week to restore power. Here at Matrix Institute we were prepared with a propane generator fueled by a 1,000 gallon underground propane storage tank that can supply total power to our offices and home. In over 25 years of publishing we have never missed a publishing deadline. We attribute this to following our intuitive guidance in coordination with our Earth changes preparedness plan.

So what’s ahead? I see more natural disasters coming in the U.S., including ice storms in the Northeast and the Great Lakes Region.

▪▪▪▪▪▪

In my Future Trends for 2011, I stated, “In the region around Turkey and Greece I see quakes reaching as much as magnitude 7 or greater.” (IF Dec. 1010)

On Sunday, October 23, 2011, an earthquake of magnitude 7.2 struck eastern Turkey followed by more than 600 reported aftershocks. Recent figures indicate that the death toll reached nearly 600, and with thousands of buildings damaged, approximately 40,000 people have been left homeless.

▪▪▪▪▪▪

It is at this time of the year when I begin to work on our Special Predictions Issue for the coming year. In order to produce this issue it takes two higher states sessions each day prior to our publication deadline to prepare. This means I will do 75 sessions to produce the issue. I have already begun to receive some insights on the U.S. Presidential election but as is our policy; I need to have at least three insights on a subject prior to releasing a forecast. One area I can talk about now is the state of the U.S. economy. I continue to receive insights that indicate a recession is on the horizon, although I believe most would say it has occurred and is now occurring. More on this and many new areas in the upcoming “Predictions for 2012” Intuitive Flash issue (download Dec. 15, mail Dec 22).

Sept. 2011 Intuitive Flash Journal Update - Earth Changes on the Rise by Gordon Michael Scallion

Thursday, Sept.1, 2011 | www.matrixinstitute.com

When we think of Earth changes, often seismic events such as earthquakes and volcanoes are what immediately come to mind. However, if we look at 2011 to date, we see that there have been as many, if not more, weather-related events that are changing the face of the Earth. Long time readers will recall that I had stated that prior to the breaking up of lands, as depicted on my “Future Map” series, weather-related natural disasters would become erratic and ongoing, and would increase in severity. And we would also begin to see an increase in the number of both extreme seismic events as well as extreme weather-related events. To date here are just a few of the more notable events that have occurred in just the last few months:

• April 16 – Tornadoes hit N. Carolina and Virginia, leaving at least 47 dead.

• April 28 – A massive storm spawned 137 tornadoes, killed at least 180 people, and caused massive damage in sections of Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, and Huntsville, Alabama.

• July 7 – A 7.8 Magnitude Earthquake hits New Zealand.

• July 9 – A 7.3 Magnitude Earthquake hits northeastern Japan.

• Aug. 23 – A magnitude 5.8 quake hits Virginia, and is felt as far away as Chicago and Canada.

• August 26, 27 – Hurricane Irene hits SC, NC, VA and flooding continues to cause massive damage in those states

• August 28 – Irene, now a tropical storm dumps an enormous amount of rainfall in New Jersey, New York and New England. Communities in New Jersey, parts of New York, and many areas in Vermont and New Hampshire became completely cut off because of roads and bridges washed out from overflowing streams and rivers. Some of these towns are still cut off and electricity is still out in many areas. The process of cleaning up will take weeks or more. As if this was not enough, if we look at the weather channel we can see that Storm Tracking shows new tropical storms now moving toward mainland U.S., and based on my predictions for 2011, the U.S. will experience more hurricanes this season. Our hearts go out to our neighbors and friends in Brattleboro, Vermont, who saw extensive damage from flooding when the Whetstone River went over its banks and moved downtown filling roads and area businesses with massive amounts of flood water and mud. Many residents in the area have been displaced and still can’t get back into their homes. While we live just across the Connecticut River, and near many of the areas that had problems with flooding, we were fortunate in that we had no damage whatsoever. When searching for a home in the late 1980s our criteria were to be at least 500 feet above any major river and that our house would sit on stable ground. Our foundation rests on granite and is over 500 feet above the Connecticut River. If you are thinking of relocating or even considering a second home, please consider creating a criteria for safety. Even small streams can become torrents of rushing waters that can flood structures within minutes, witness what has occurred in many Vermont and New Hampshire communities as well as in New Jersey and N. Carolina and other states affected by this storm. With all the controversy over the U.S. National Debt crisis, a new element is about to enter the fray. FEMA has announced that it is running out of money due to the huge increase in natural disasters. A freeze has been placed on any new funding projects and there are plans to go to Congress for additional funding. Will FEMA experience a similar Congressional impasse as did the debt ceiling crisis? My sense is they will, as will any new requests for funding.

August Update - The After Effects of Debt Ceiling Legislation
Written by Gordon Michael Scallion
Monday, 01 August 2011 08:31
It is now almost assured that both houses will pass debt ceiling legislation. However, the damage to the U.S. economy, and possibly other countries, has already occurred.

Consumer spending is what feeds the U.S. economy. By some estimates it is 70 percent of the U.S. GDP. As a result of the real estate bubble, credit card debt and high unemployment, consumers have been forced to cut back on their spending. In addition, the current fiasco in Washington has further eroded consumer confidence.

In the winter 2010 Intuitive Flash, I stated that we would enter a second recession, a double dip. This spring it was confirmed that we indeed had entered a double-dip recession in real estate. As to the rest of the economy entering a recession, the pundits say, “No way.” However, what I see is that in 2012, the U.S. will be in another recession and the recent debacle in Washington over the debt ceiling will be one more trigger to cause it.

It may also be of interest to note that in my article “Economic Downturn to Usher in New Economy” in the summer 2010 Intuitive Flash, I stated the following, “The new economy will be austere in many ways with a pay-as-you go philosophy, perhaps brought about by the current “Tea Party” movement.”

In the same issue I also stated, “While it may seem as if today’s economic conditions are too difficult to bear, keep in mind that we have been living under an economic imbalance for some time. It is because of this imbalance, which has been marked by greed, material excesses, and exploitation of natural resources that the old system was doomed to fail. The few, who have controlled most of the wealth in the world, have not used their privilege wisely. Instead, they have exploited this planet and many of the people on it for their own gain. This kind of imbalance will only last for so long before consciousness moves to correct the situation. We are in the throes of that correction now. As such, we will begin to see an increasing awareness of the dangers of unbridled materialism, and recognition that more is not necessarily better. The new consciousness will recognize the value of simplicity, quality and excellence, all of which will become a part of the new economy and begin to move us toward a place of harmony with the planet. This will not happen overnight. It may take a decade or more for the new economic model to take hold.”

June Update - Elements air-water-fire-earth Continue to Be Out of Balance
Wednesday, 01 June 2011 10:09

Intuitive Flash Update June 1, 2011 by Gordon Michael Scallion www.matrixinstitute.com

Last month I shared my insights on how I saw the elements – earth, air, water and fire - out of balance and that in the next few months at least, we would see these elements create Earth changes in particular below 40 degrees latitude. Shortly after releasing the May Update we saw the element air – tornadoes - hit Joplin, MO and other regions. Joplin lies at 37 degree longitude. Unfortunately I must now also report I do not see this pattern ceasing anytime soon and I expect this season’s hurricane season to be more severe than previous years. I will update the 2011 hurricane season in the upcoming Intuitive Flash summer issue, available for download on or about June 26.

It is clear to many that Earth changes are increasing yearly and these same people wonder if the Maya prediction’s of major Earth changes occurring in 2012 is true. While I have addressed this issue previously, we have added many new members since that report and as such a review is in order.

First and most importantly, I do not see the world coming to an end on Dec.21, 2012 or for that matter on “May 21, 2011 Judgment day” when Harold Camping predicted the end of the world. When May 21st came and went he updated his prediction to October 2011. The same will occur on Oct. 21 and on Dec. 21st. What I have learned in 30 years of work in this field is that no one knows the exact time. We may get glimpses on future trends and time ranges but I believe we control the exact timing of events at the super conscious level. How we live each day for the better or worst, become part of our future outcome.

Elements air-water-fire-earth Out of Balance | The Economy
Monday, 02 May 2011 00:00

May 2011 Intuitive Flash Update by Gordon Michael Scallion

Earth changes and the economy continue to dominate the news.

EARTH CHANGES
Since the last issue of “Intuitive Flash” Earth changes in the U.S.  have taken hundreds of lives, particularly in the South where devastating tornadoes have wreaked havoc and caused billions of dollars in damage. Unfortunately, we have not seen the last of these kinds of extreme storms. What I see is that the elements air, water, fire, and earth are now out of balance, especially in latitudes below 40 degrees in the U.S.

The Sun and Earth talk to each other, so-to-speak, whereby, energy is constantly moving back and forth between the Sun and Earth. But something has happened that has altered this exchange. What I sense is that a shift in Earth’s core has created an imbalance in this Sun-Earth energy exchange somewhere between 30 degrees north latitude, and 30 degrees south latitude. This imbalance is influencing latitudes below 40 degrees north latitude in the U.S. While this phenomenon may also be influencing other areas across the globe, at this time, I am only able to focus on this area. Expect to see more extreme events relating to each of the elements. We have already seen wind and water events in the areas struck by tornadoes. The element fire has been out of control in Texas, and extreme flooding is going on in Missouri. I see this pattern of extreme events continuing for 2 more months.

THE ECONOMY
Gold is now at an all time high, and I sense it will go much higher, as will silver. Also, as anyone with a car, or who uses oil to heat their home knows, oil and gas prices are off the charts. The driving force behind these advances is the decline of the U.S. dollar. When will this madness end? Not soon. As I have noted previously I saw that a devaluation would occur in the U.S. dollar, (IF, Summer 2010) even though it made no sense to me when I wrote about it. I believe what is occurring now with the U.S. dollar is why gold and silver are rising as well as other commodities. I wish I could say, as the financial experts are saying, that the economy is slowly improving and all is well. It may be so for the top 10% of the U.S. but for most of the middle and lower economic classes, we are still in a recession.

OPTIONS
With all this bleak information what can we do? I will repeat what I have previously recommended on preparedness — be conservation with your purchases. Yes, there are many great deals out there, especially in real estate, but if it is not your primary domicile, be careful as I see existing home sales continuing to decline in value. Gas is at $4 now, and I see it going over $5, so review your driving habits, and if you are in the market for a new car, make low gas mileage one of your priorities. If you have not yet downloaded my “72-Hour Emergency Backpack” you may do so by logging into the “Members Zone” and selecting “Download Reports” from the “Members Menu.”

March 15 - Intuitive Flash Special Update - Japan's 9.0 Quake

Intuitive Flash Special Update - Japan’s Quake Updated to Magnitude 9.0
March 15, 2011 by Gordon  Michael Scallion

My heart goes out to the people of Japan who are not only reeling from one of the biggest quakes in history, but have also experienced a devastating tsunami. And if that isn’t enough they are now in the midst of a nuclear emergency.  Japan is probably the most prepared of any country for seismic events, and because of that preparedness, no doubt many, many lives were saved. Yet, while they are aware of the danger of a tsunami, they didn’t have enough warning to save everyone from its destructive path. There is only so much we humans can do when Nature decides to go on the offensive, but putting nuclear reactors on or near fault lines is something we can and should avoid at all costs.

The U.S.G.S. just updated Japan’s earthquake from 8.9 to 9.0. Each full point represents an increase in magnitude of 10 so a 1/10 increase indicates a similar increase in energy released. The U.S.G.S. says that the force of the quake has moved the island of Japan 8 feet, and according to the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology in Italy, it has also shifted Earth’s axis by nearly four inches.

If large quakes can shift the Earth on its axis what other changes are possible? We know that whenever a large quake occurs, the energy behind the quake travels many times around the world as a wave, imparting this wave to any weak points on a plate. It is possible that the Japanese quake will set in motion a new 4-Quake Scenario. We will know soon enough if a quake equal or close to the magnitude of the Japan quake occurs in the Indian Ocean. Should this occur within weeks of the Japan quake, then South America would experience the 3rd event and finally the West Coast of America within weeks of the South American quake.Whether or not, the West Coast experiences a quake of the magnitude of the Japan quake in the near future or not, the area needs to be as prepared as possible, because it is only a matter of time before it happens there.

Check out Member’s Zone, Download Reports, 72-hour backpack.pdf. You need to log in to get it. It is important for all of us to be prepared at all times. Cynthia and I live near a nuclear power plant, and we will be making sure that we have our emergency backpack ready to go in case we need it.

Turmoil in Middle East, Workers Rights and Earth Changes
Wednesday, 02 March 2011 14:20
Intuitive Flash Newsletter Update
by Gordon Michael Scallion
March 2, 2011

Turmoil in the Middle East

The Middle East continues to dominate the headlines as people in Arab country after Arab country challenge their leaders, and demand their rights to freedom, and a better way of life. As people in Libya try to control their destiny, they are at this time experiencing a violent push back by government forces. It will take varying degrees of aid from other countries before Colonel Muammar el-Qaddafi is finally overthrown.

In the future, I see those countries now in turmoil in the Middle East creating a geographically unified country, made up of individual states similar to the United States of America. But until that happens, the area will remain volatile, and the call of freedom aided by the Internet will continue to spread throughout the region. The oppressive regimes in those countries with high unemployment and extreme poverty will continue to be most at risk of being overthrown. That volatility particularly affects us by the rising price of oil and the economic instability it creates. In my predictions for 2010, I saw oil prices breaking $100. It didn’t happen in 2010, but it is happening now, and I believe it will go higher. That means that we will see rising food prices, rising transportation costs, and a general trend toward increased inflation. At the same time these rising costs will delay hiring, put a crimp on the economic recovery, and unfortunately move us closer to the economic downturn that I have predicted would happen this year.

Worker’s rights in the U.S.

If we look carefully we see a similar energy at play in the U.S. While not a violent uprising, the people in the state of Wisconsin and other states are fighting for their rights, as well. So where is all this going?

In my predictions for 2010, I saw that many cities and states would be unable to collect sufficient taxes to fund their programs. We are seeing that play out this year in Wisconsin and many other states facing severe financial crises. Unfortunately instead of all concerned parties attempting to work things out, a kind of class warfare has broken out with those in power apparently willing to wage all out battle to get what they want instead of being willing to compromise. Unfortunately, it is those jobs that serve the people, like teachers, nurses, fire fighters and police officers, which
are at risk.

The energy at play here is a sort of metaphysical review of who we are as a people and what we value as our true ideals. Like the U.S. government’s financial crisis and debt, all of us are experiencing the same crisis. It is only when we are challenged do we have an opportunity to stop, review and make changes.

So how can we tell if we are on the right track of change? Placing a higher value on education, and doing all we can to insure that it is the best that we can make it, is one test of our true ideals. I fear budget cuts will curtail education reform initially, but we will see that moving in the right direction in 2012-2014.

Earth Changes

New Zealand recently experienced a magnitude 6+ earthquake. Many members emailed me asking if New Zealand is still the “new frontier” as I had previously predicted it would be. The short answer is, yes. This does not mean that New Zealand will not experience quakes and volcanic activity, but its landmass will remain in place, unlike many other areas. No place on Earth will be free of Earth changes, some more severe than others. In the future, I see New Zealand as a beacon of light for the planet where spiritual messages will be beamed around the world giving hope for a better
future.

The recent quake in Arkansas, while not significant in magnitude or damage, is a warning sign that energies are building in the New Madrid area and new swarms are sure to follow.

The Economy | Terrorism | Earth Changes
Monday, 01 November 2010 10:09

Economy

We recently had a small auto accident, so I took our car to the local auto body shop that has been in business for 40 years.  When I arrived to get an estimate I noticed over 20 vehicles in the lot. When I went in, I met the owner and commented on the number of cars waiting for repair, and asked, “How long will it take to get my car repaired?”

He responded, “For your car, 2 or 3 days.” I was taken aback by his response.

He noticed my confusion and said, “Those cars in the lot are either abandoned or the owners let their insurance expire, or like most, they simply do not have the money to pay their deductable.

After more conversation he explained that he used to have 13 employees and now has 3, and my job would be the only one scheduled for the following week. He said he has never seen anything like this before and was not sure he could keep going financially.

This experience brought home to me just how bad the economy is for the middle class, and how stories such as this one are not being told.  Continued high employment, rising food and energy prices, and the housing foreclosure debacle all point to a continued slump in the economy. And while there has been an official pronouncement that the recession is over, I am not seeing signs of that as yet, and the multitude of unemployed workers out there are not seeing those signs either. Unfortunately, this has been a long time coming, and it will take a long time to fix it.

I have just begun working on my annual predictions for 2011 and while it is still early and I have not, as yet,  received any specific details in my meditations, I do sense the economy is about to get worse. In my predictions for the 2011, I hope to have information on how much longer the downturn will last, and what can be done to turn things around.

Terrorism

In the annual predictions for 2010 I noted that there would be terrorist activities in the U.S. but most would be thwarted. The recent bombing attempts on planes coming from Yemen were fortunately detected before any damage was done. However, I sense that there will be more attempts.

Earth Changes

The Indian Ocean area has once again suffered catastrophic Earth changes as a 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Sumatra on Oct 25, spawning a killer tsunami in the region. The 10-foot tsunami hit the Mentawai islands off Sumatra, killing hundreds of people and leaving thousands homeless. The earthquake struck in the same fault that caused the 2004 quake and monster Indian Ocean tsunami that killed 230,000 people in a dozen countries.

In the Winter 2009 Intuitive Flash, I said, “Key planetary influences emanating from Uranus and Neptune act as triggers for tectonic plate movements, particularly in the Indian Ocean. So we do see the Indian Ocean where in 2009, 2010, there shall be not only plate movements, but tsunamis in the area.”
